To countdown to the #200wordRPG contest (which i’m unnervingly excited about), I’ll be posting a 200 word RPG each week until the contest opens!

4-6 Players

All players but one are oppressed peoples within a fictional European country (the Rabble).

Using string/tape, create an ~8ft-by-8ft map of the country divided into 8 sections on the floor. Bend the string to create uniquely-shaped sections. All Rabble players should pick 3 map sections as hubs for their oppressed group.

One person who isn’t playing the game is the Puppet.

Another player (the Fascist) plays a sick dubstep track while the Rabble speaks casually about their groups’ oppression.

Explaining nothing, convince the Puppet to dance on the map you’ve prepared.

RABBLE: Watch the hubs. Whenever the Puppet has both feet in one of yours, strike a tally on your arm with black marker and howl out two words describing atrocities you’ve suffered. After howling, resume watching.

FASCIST: Cajole the Puppet (“DO THE WORM!”, “BRUH, YOUR NAE NAE SICK!”); try to influence their movement. Avoid mentioning the game.

After the song ends, compare marks and roleplay scenes of brutal oppression. More marks = more intense scenes. Fascist sets scenes. Rabble portrays victims. Least-marked and Fascist portray oppressors. Always blare dubstep. The sick beats may be turned down, but not off!
